This beautiful ceremony will be an opportunity to gather, welcome, and celebrate the visit of Q'ero Elder Dona Asunta Q'uispe and Karina Davalos Concha.
We will begin to co-create a powerful healing despacho ceremony together led by Asunta and Karina.
All are welcome to this beautiful ceremony. It will be a wonderful opportunity welcome and celebrate the visit of Q'ero Elder Dona Asunta Q'uispe and Karina Davalos Concha while experiencing their teachings and offerings.
The despacho is a prayer bundle, made with the communities prayers. It grows as a beautiful mandala of offerings which will later be burned in a sacred fire ceremony. The practice being to always come back into "ayni" to come into balance with our universe. The Universe is made up of energy, not good or bad, it just is. When our relationship to the universe is out of balance, it shows up in the world outside of us. The ayni despacho helps us to let go of fear, shame, and guilt (hucha) and gives us the opportunity to come back into balance. The universe reflects back to us what is going on inside of us.
This community ceremony is open to ALL (children included) and will be offered by donation. We suggest a $25 minimum donation, however, no amount is too big or small! All donations will go directly back to Peru to support the Q'eros people.
There is a limited amount of Space, please RSVP to all events so we can make accommodations and for planning purposes.
